Duties

- Safely operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes to perform site preparation, material handling, and grading tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other specialized equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
- Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues on equipment to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently while maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and project timelines




- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability

Requirements

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, or similar equipment
- Must be able to submit a current criminal record check
- Must provide a valid driver's abstract
- Valid driver’s license or equivalent certification for driving large vehicles or transporting freight
- Certification or experience in forklift operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues quickly in office
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere strictly to safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
