The Lucky

Goose is a cosy, family-run restaurant on the Ta’ Xbiex seafront, dedicated to celebrating the art of outstanding meat and fine wine. Guided by a genuine passion for flavour, the family behind the restaurant is always seeking out exceptional cuts and standout bottles to enrich their carefully curated selection. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with soft background music and the comforting hum of conversation.

Elegant wood panelling and cushioned black banquettes create a refined yet homely setting, while a spacious, fully stocked bar welcomes guests at the entrance. A gleaming wine chiller and a striking dry ager displaying premium cuts complete the picture — a space where quality and craftsmanship take centre stage.

The Lucky

Goose keeps things fresh and focused with a concise main menu and a changing specials board that reflects the best seasonal produce. Start by sharing a few small plates — perhaps delicate slices of mini beef Wellington wrapped in homemade salted pastry, or a sizzling cast-iron pan of brandy-glazed chicken livers with pomegranate. Move on to perfectly al dente casarecce with tender octopus, or share a generous meat board featuring ribeye, picanha, and hanger steak, crowned with crisp, fat Maltese sausages.
