TRAXX Coachlines is a premium commercial transportation operator with deep expertise in air, ground, marine, and accommodation logistics. The organization operates an extensive, ELD-compliant fleet of motorcoaches, mini coaches, shuttles, and vans, and collaborates closely with contractual partners to provide optimal passenger vehicles. With facilities across Alberta and British Columbia and a presence in the United States, TRAXX is experienced in long-duration, away-from-base operations.
Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, supporting TRAXX Coachlines’ growing workforce and operations. This team member will manage day-to-day HR functions, including administering HR policies, coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. The role will also support benefits administration, employee relations,
and performance management processes to ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company standards.
The Human Resources
Generalist will partner with managers to address HR inquiries, assist with recruitment activities, and contribute to HR initiatives that promote engagement, safety, and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management within a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Solid knowledge of HR Policies and relevant employment legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply them consistently.
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with HRIS and standard office software; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP/CPHR designation or working toward it is an asset.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries is an asset, along with familiarity with multi-site operations.
