Ice Cream Server

District Ice Cream is looking for energetic, positive team members who love creating great experiences just as much as they love great ice cream.

As an Ice Cream Server, you'll be the face of our shop. You'll scoop, serve, connect with guests, and help keep the shop clean, organized, and running smoothly. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with others, and take pride in delivering an exceptional experience to every guest.

What you'll do:

- Serve guests with warmth, energy, and efficiency.
- Scoop ice cream, prepare menu items, and maintain presentation standards.
- Keep the shop clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift.
- Work as part of a team to keep the shop running smoothly during busy periods.
- Stay aware of guest needs and help create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door.

Experience

- Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurants or food industry settings involving serving or scooping ice cream.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar cash register technology is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Experience in cashiering or cashier roles within a restaurant or retail environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service.
