Role Description This is a full time, on-site Immigration Lawyer role located in Coquitlam, BC.

The Immigration

Lawyer will advise and represent clients in a range of Canadian immigration matters, including temporary and permanent residence applications, family sponsorships, work and study permits, and related proceedings. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing eligibility, gathering and reviewing documentation, preparing legal submissions and application packages, and tracking file progress and deadlines. The role also involves communicating with government authorities, staying up to date on changes to Canadian immigration law and policy, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

The Immigration

Lawyer will contribute to a professional,



client-centered work setting and may assist with occasional real estate or cross-practice matters as needed. Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in a Canadian province or territory, with good standing at the relevant law society (BC preferred).

Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Canadian immigration law, including handling applications for temporary and permanent residence.

Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting abilities, with attention to detail in preparing forms, affidavits, and written submissions.

Strong client communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex processes clearly and maintain a supportive, professional demeanor.

Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple files, strict deadlines, and changing priorities in a busy practice.

Ability to work on-site as part of a small, collaborative team in Coquitlam, BC, while exercising sound judgment and professional independence.

Proficiency with common law office software and case management tools; multilingual abilities are considered an advantage.
