Expected hours: several shifts available ranging between 20 to 40 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to care for my 90 years old mother who has Parkinson Disease and assist my 95 years old father. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to my mother in our home, ensuring her well-being and comfort. My father only needs very little assistance with food preparation, laundry and cleaning his room.

Responsibilites

- Support our mother with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support
- Prepare, cook and feed nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring

-Administer nebulizer and bpap as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiar with using hoyer lift, Sarah Steady, Sarah Flex and sling for transfers to wheelchair, commode, etc.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean and secure living environment
- Engage client in meaningful activities to promote positive emotional well-being and social interaction
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality

-Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals





Qualifications

- Experience in caregiving roles such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes or home care settings
- Knowledge of senior care practices and principles and basic nursing skills is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with client and family
- Understanding of medication administration procedures
- Candidates should demonstrate patience, compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting.

-Prior experience in caregiving for individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions will be considered an asset.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
- Certification in nursing assistance or related field is a plus

- Preferred can speak Tagalog

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Emergency First Aid Certificate and Adult CPR certification

- No criminal record
- Proof of Covid Vaccination/Annual Boosters
- Proof of Influenza Vaccination – Annual

-Will train

License/Certification

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
