Become an Infection Control Support Associate with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority! This full time position focuses on implementing infection control measures and collaborating with management in a Long Term Care setting. As an Infection Control Support Associate, you will operate under the guidance of site leadership while receiving specialized clinical direction.

Your duties will include monitoring adherence to infection prevention policies and providing vital guidance on hygienic practices and outbreak management. You'll collaborate closely with site management to ensure compliance at all levels. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor adherence to infection control policies
- Oversee staff implementation of infection prevention measures




- Collaborate with management on IP&C; challenges
- Ensure compliance with infection surveillance in Long Term Care
- Provide guidance on sterilization and cleaning processes Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in health-related field
- Completion of an IPAC Canada endorsed course
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Certification from the Certification Board of Infection Control preferred
