Role: Senior Informatica IICS / IDMC Developer

Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid)

Hiring Mode: Contract

Pay: CAD 50/Hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica IICS / IDMC Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade ETL and data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica development, SQL, and Agile delivery, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and IDMC to meet business and technical requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate detailed functional specifications into robust ETL designs.
- Design and develop data integration workflows following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Perform data analysis using measurement techniques, define KPIs, and develop data sources, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, architects, and developers to understand business challenges and deliver effective data integration solutions.
- Develop, test, document, and deploy ETL processes with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Develop automation and supporting scripts using Shell, VB, or Perl where required.




- Conduct unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues across QA, SIT, and Production environments.
- Prepare technical design documents, implementation documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams using Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, and client stakeholders, including presenting technical solutions and project updates.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall ETL development experience within large enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) / Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Strong expertise in ETL design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Extensive experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.




- Strong understanding of relational databases and data integration best practices.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with source control and project management tools such as Bitbucket and Jira.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong consulting and client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
- Self-motivated, performance-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.

Mandatory Requirement

- Eligibility for Canadian Reliability Status Clearance, which requires residing in Canada for the last five (5) consecutive years.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and enterprise data integration architecture.
- Experience supporting reporting and visualization initiatives.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, VB, or Perl.
- Experience with enterprise ETL performance tuning and optimization.
