Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Injection Moulding Machine Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality plastic components. We are looking to hire one dayshift and one nightshift position. In this energetic role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain injection moulding machines to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality.

Duties

- Set up and operate injection moulding machines, ensuring proper calibration and functioning before production begins
- Monitor machine operations continuously, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain consistent product quality
- Perform routine inspections of moulds, machine parts, and finished products using calipers and other hand tools
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills; perform minor repairs or escalate as necessary
- Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and quality documentation for traceability and process improvement




- Assist with material handling tasks using forklift equipment when required to ensure smooth workflow within the warehouse environment

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating injection moulding machinery and CNC equipment such as CNC lathes or CNC mills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices for precision inspection and assembly tasks
- Basic math skills for setting machine parameters and calculating measurements accurately
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation for material movement and storage management
- Knowledge of quality inspection standards to ensure products meet specifications consistently
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, and process troubleshooting enhances overall performance
