Lumenstar LED Lighting is a manufacturer and supplier of professional LED lighting solutions serving electrical distributors, lighting retailers, and commercial customers across North America. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing customer accounts, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the entire sales process. You will play a key role in driving sales growth while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Development

- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical distributors, lighting retailers, and other commercial customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
- Open new customer accounts and maintain accurate account information.
- Proactively contact customers regarding new products, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.

Customer Service & Sales Support

- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, telephone, and possible walk-in traffic.
- Process quotations, sales orders,



purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Prioritize quotation requests and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
- Guide customers through the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project completion.
- Communicate order requirements and timelines with warehouse and operations teams.

Product Knowledge & Technical Support

- Recommend LED lighting products and solutions based on customer requirements.
- Provide basic technical support and product guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LED lighting products, controls, and related technologies.
- Assist customers with product selection, project quotations, and application recommendations.

Order Management

- Coordinate with shipping and warehouse personnel to resolve order-related issues.
- Assist with freight inquiries, expediting requests, delivery updates, and shipment tracking.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.

General Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with sales, operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
- Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required

- High School Diploma.




- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Preferred

- Experience in the electrical, lighting, construction, or industrial supply industry.
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of LED lighting products and electrical materials.
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
