We currently have an opening for an ambitious Install Technician, in our Regina branch. This full-time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects, supported career development, and potential for advancement.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Installation Services:
Ensure the hardware or other schedules are reviewed for clarification, especially product names and item numbers.
Ensures the keying or access controls are complete according to customers performance specifications
Install products in accordance with manufactures specs. and scope of project.
Supervision and training of other on-site labourers
Accurate estimating of time to complete tasks and adherence to agreed deadlines
Completes proper paperwork showing the pickup of goods and delivery to site
Use company vehicle to move product to and from site with adherence to safety standards
Identifies and communicates any short shipped or damaged product to product coordinator immediately
Accurately recording receipt of goods on our sales order in conjunction with hardware or other schedules.
Follows the procedures as to paper flow, documentation, and packaging for both shipping and receiving on site
Follows site safety requirements
Adherence to regulatory safety requirements
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Maintain and ensure proper vehicle safety
Daily, weekly, and monthly use of CP360 for completion of safety forms as required on site and as defined by company's Safety Manual
Internal/External Customer Service:
Notifying project leaders of delays or advances to project schedules
Notify project leaders of out of scope work requested by customer
Continual use of CP360 for real time communication
Using win-win problem solving methods and inter-departmental task forces to solve inter-departmental work problems
Maintain positive, effective relations with all other personnel and departments in the company.
Assist with other shop duties as required
Product Knowledge and Skill Development :
Constantly updating product knowledge.
Attending in-house or external programs as to improve “installation process”
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Experience · 1-2 years of experience with installation of commercial doors · Familiarity with Division 8, 10, and 28 is considered an asset · Experience with low voltage wiring is considered an asset
Specific Skills · Quick learner and ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and take on new challenges · Strong verbal communication · Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

Certifications/Licenses · Valid Driver’s License without restrictions, required
Physical Abilities Work is performed in a shop setting with lifting of up to 50lbs
Job Details: This role is high paced, and detail orientated requiring a high degree of self-motivation and achievement and adherence to standards and quality outcomes. PPE required for performance of role.
