Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs using Siemens controls.
- Support electrical design throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in machine assembly, testing, debugging, and commissioning.
- Assist with equipment installation, startup, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Support robot integration and programming (KUKA and DENSO experience is an asset).
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to deliver projects on schedule.
Qualifications Required
- Diploma or degree in Robotics & Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
- Experience programming Siemens PLCs.
- Experience developing HMI applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with TIA Portal.
- Experience with KUKA and/or DENSO robotics.
- Experience with custom automation equipment or machine builders.
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical or similar electrical CAD software.
- Machine commissioning experience.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel throughout the United States for equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support, with occasional travel within Canada.
- Valid passport required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to meet applicable U.S. and Canadian business travel and border entry requirements.
- Valid driver's licence required.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
