About the team you are joining You will be joining the Information Security team within the Information & Data (I&D;) Division, reporting to the Manager Aviation Information Security under the Head Information Security GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) & Aviation Partnership, as part of a small team of cybersecurity professionals.
What your day would be like
- Supporting aviation cybersecurity initiatives, industry meetings, and study group activities;
- Conducting research on emerging cybersecurity threats, regulations, standards, and best practices impacting the airline industry;
- Assisting in the development of cybersecurity guidance material, reports, presentations, and policy documents;
- Supporting advocacy activities related to global aviation cybersecurity standards and regulatory harmonization;
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of industry meetings and stakeholder engagement activities;
- Preparing agendas, meeting minutes, action logs, and stakeholder communications;
- Contributing to a project aligned with your developing skill set and the needs of the Aviation Cybersecurity team;
- Helping maintain knowledge repositories, collaboration platforms, and cybersecurity information-sharing resources;
- Supporting the maintenance of the team's intranet and external site content;
- Performing additional duties as required, e.g. supporting the coordination of policy exception, security risk assessment tasks, and other team initiatives.
We would love to hear from you if
- Recent university Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (within one year of graduation);
- Previous entry-level administrative work experience;
- Interest in technology, cybersecurity, and the aviation industry;
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail;
- Excellent PC skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across different stages of initiatives;
- Customer-focused mindset and solid interpersonal skills in a global environment;
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of another language is an asset.
