Journeyman Electrician toperformelectrical work, ensure code compliance, and support the operations of our team in Vancouver, British Columbia.The successful candidate willbe responsible for supporting the installation,maintenance and repair of heat-pump based electrical systemsin accordance withfederal and provincial electrical code.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistin installation of electrical heat pumps and HVAC equipment by ensuring all electrical workcomplies withfederal and provincial electrical code.
- Providetechnical guidance, supervision, and mentoring to electricians and apprentices
- Perform electrical inspections and preventative maintenance
- Review and approve electrical permits, inspections, and documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support complex project work
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to support job planning and execution
- Maintainaccuratejob records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Participate in estimating, quoting, and planning electrical projects
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician preferred
- Robust understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Valid FSR Certificate preferred
- Valid BC Driver’sLicencewith a clean driving record
