- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct automotive repairs, such as engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are followed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for automotive repair.
- Proficiency in using power tools and automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding their vehicle repairs.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate repair procedures.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods of time.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working in a dealership is preferred.
