Position Summary

Chongo's Market is seeking a motivated and creative Juice Production Lead for our fresh juice program. This hands-on role is responsible for overseeing daily juice production, maintaining the highest quality standards, developing new recipes, and implementing/managing a reusable glass bottle deposit program. The ideal candidate is passionate about fresh food, innovation, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily production of fresh juices and juice-based products.
- Wash, prepare, and process fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Operate commercial juicing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Develop current juice recipes and seasonal products.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Package and label finished products.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and production supplies.




- Implement/manage the glass bottle return and deposit program.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

- Experience in food production or a commercial kitchen.
- Passion for fresh food and product innovation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Comfortable using commercial kitchen equipment and safe knife handling.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
