Norquay Trusses is a Truss Design and Manufacturing company located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario with operations starting in spring in 2021. We are currently seeking Junior Builders for our Manufacturing plant

Responsibilities & Duties

· Work with a team in building trusses as per specified blueprints

· Use power tools and hand tools safely to perform duties

· Ensure assigned work station is kept clean and tidy

· Assist in daily operations and tasks as assigned by the Production Manager

· Standing for extended period of time

· Lifting up to 50lbs regularly

Qualifications:

- Interest in learning the roof truss manufacturing process
- Experience in construction, manufacturing or warehousing experience an asset
- Knowledge or experience in framing an asset
- Experience working with hand & power tools




- Must be comfortable working in a noisy and quick paced environment
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills; Ability to read a tape measure; basic measurement calculations
- Basic computer skills
- Must have excellent safety record and steel toe boots
