Responsibilities

- Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards and consistency
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Train new team members through interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to foster a skilled and motivated workforce




- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with a focus on kitchen management
- Extensive food industry background including food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Experience with interviewing potential team members and managing restaurant workflows
