Ryuko is hiring kitchen team members for our Beltline and West Calgary locations.

- Sushi Chef
- Roll Chef
- Kitchen Staff
- Dishwasher

Responsibilities

Line Cook / Kitchen Staff:

- Prepare and plate hot food and appetizers
- Work on fry, grill, or assigned kitchen stations
- Complete daily food preparation and kitchen duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures

Sushi Chef:
- Prepare sushi, nigiri, sashimi, and related menu items
- Perform fish preparation as required
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and sanitation standards
- Keep the sushi station clean and organized

Roll Chef:
- Prepare sushi rolls and assigned menu items
- Complete sushi station preparation and garnish work




- Maintain an organized and sanitary workstation
- Training may be provided to suitable entry-level applicants

Dishwasher:
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain a clean and organized dish station
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is an asset
- Sushi Chef applicants should have relevant sushi preparation experience
- Entry-level applicants may be considered for selected positions
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and respectful
- Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Able to follow workplace, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
