We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Production Cook. This role is located at our Commissary Kitchen in North York where we produce all our product, including baked goods and breads, for our downtown bakeries.

This job entails

- Preparation of recipes from scratch and cooking of various savoury food products such as pie and sandwich fillings.
- Managing and assisting (as required) in assembling pies, turnovers, and other savouries.
- Comfortable working with various kitchen equipment such as skillets, combi ovens, kettle, meat slicer, food processors, vacuum sealers, etc
- Must be comfortable working independently and have excellent time management/scheduling capability - Food Handler Certificate is required
- The idea candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a production kitchen environment.



Training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 40lbs, comfortable standing for extended work periods

This position is currently part time. Flexible hours, 24-30 hours per week (weekdays only) $18-$20 per hour. Wages are based on experience.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
