L3 Hyland OnBase Production Support Engineer

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

- Deep expertise in Hyland OnBase including Administration, Workflow, Unity, and Integration
- Robust SQL and database troubleshooting skills
- Experience in enterprise application architecture and support models
- Experience with integration technologies including APIs, web services, and middleware
- Knowledge of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Insurance / Financial Services environments
- Exposure to OnBase migration, modernization, or transformation programs
- Experience with automation and scripting including PowerShell and batch jobs
- Experience with performance tuning and system scalability

Roles & Responsibilities

L3 Incident & Problem Management

- Resolve critical and complex incidents escalated from L2 support teams
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes

Platform Engineering & Optimization

- Design and implement OnBase configurations, performance tuning, and system improvements
- Handle upgrades, patching, and system enhancements

Architecture & Integration Support





- Provide SME support for integrations including APIs, middleware, and upstream systems
- Define best practices for document workflows and automation

Release & Change Governance

- Lead production releases, deployment strategies, and stabilization activities
- Ensure change compliance and risk mitigation

Operational Leadership

- Guide L1/L2 teams, reduce incident backlog, and improve MTTR
- Drive SLA adherence and continuous service improvement

Outcome Focus

- Improve system resilience and reduce critical incidents
- Enable faster resolution of complex issues
- Optimize OnBase performance and scalability
- Ensure strong governance and release stability
