POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is committed to the well-being of our residents. The LPN team administers medication and ensures that resident records are kept up to date in the computer system. They respond to emergencies and work closely with the Health Services Manager and other departments (kitchen, dining room, maintenance, reception, etc.).

Schedule: Part-time, weekends.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents Respond to all emergency situations EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing PDSB training Up to date CPR / AED training certificates Member of the OIIAQ PERKS: Referral Program Uniform provided Free parking Floating days off Social leave Employee Assistance Program Vacation Human management approach Ongoing training Consistent schedule Career Opportunity JOB STATUS: Permanent: Part Time JOB SCHEDULE: Weekends
