Owl’s Nest is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Cook to join our team!

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and quality guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining pace
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences to guests
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in fast-paced kitchens
- Food Safe Certificate required
- PC1 Certificate is an asset




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong multitasking skills and able to perform in a quick-paced, busy kitchen environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a lively environment
- Proactive, reliable, and a positive attitude , follow instructions – we value teamwork and professionalism
- Knowledge of general kitchen practices, food safety, and quality control

Position Details:

- Full-time or part-time available
- $23 per hour
