Full-Time Line Cook

Explorer Hotel | Yellowknife, NT The Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife's premier full-service hotel, is seeking a motivated and dependable Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. - Position: Full-Time Line Cook
- Location: Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife, NT
- Schedule: Primarily evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
- Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure excellent guest experiences.




- Support banquet and special event food preparation as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Safe Certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
