Line Cook / Kitchen Helper

Tequila Cantina – North Vancouver, BC

Tequila Cantina is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook / Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to assist with all kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Work on the kitchen line during service
- Prepare ingredients according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist other kitchen team members as required
- Complete opening and closing kitchen duties

Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience in a Mexican restaurant is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Mexican food preparation and ingredients is an asset




- Ability to communicate in Spanish is strongly preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies
