Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep/ line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will help us deliver high-quality meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques at all times.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.




- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Deliveries of food or pickup of equipment
- Taking orders from customers at the front counter

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn current techniques in meal preparation.
