Ancient Dunes is seeking an energetic, reliable individual or couple to join our team in beautiful Masset, Haida Gwaii. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work on a private oceanfront property while helping care for one of Haida Gwaii's newest luxury eco-accommodations.This is a long-term, year-round opportunity for an individual or couple looking to build a rewarding future while living on one of Canada's most spectacular private oceanfront properties.

Position Start Date

This position has an anticipated start date of October 15, 2026.Ancient Dunes is seeking an individual or couple looking to establish themselves in Haida Gwaii and become a valued long-term part of our team. As Ancient Dunes continues to grow and expand, there will be opportunities for increased responsibilities, additional hours, and professional growth with the business for the right candidate(s).

Compensation

- $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Attractive subsidized on-site accommodation available. Flexible scheduling based on occupancy and operational needs.

Accommodation & Contractual Relationship The successful candidate(s) will enter into separate contractor and accommodation agreements prior to commencing the role.The fully furnished on-site accommodation is offered exclusively in conjunction with this opportunity and is available only while the successful candidate(s) continue to fulfill the terms of their contractor agreement(s) with Ancient Dunes.The monthly rent for the accommodation is $1,300, plus propane. A security/damage deposit is required prior to move-in.The accommodation is fully furnished, move-in ready,



and occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons. Due to the nature of the accommodation and operation, children and pets cannot be accommodated.As a hospitality business, workload and hours fluctuate throughout the year based on occupancy and operational needs. During the busy summer season, hours are typically higher, while the winter months generally offer fewer hours. Applicants should be comfortable with a variable work schedule that reflects the needs of the business.Continued occupancy of the accommodation is contingent upon compliance with the contractor and accommodation agreements. Full contract details will be provided to the successful candidate(s) before the role begins.

Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing luxury geodesic domes between guest stays Scheduled deep cleaning of all three domes Washing, drying and folding all guest linens and towels Refilling and exchanging propane tanks Weekly garbage and recycling removal Cleaning guest vehicles between rentals Monitoring and reporting on water,



filtration and septic systems Airport pick-up and drop-off for guests, along with occasional transportation as required Limited guest interaction (the property operates primarily with self check-in and self check-out) General property maintenance and seasonal site upkeep Identifying and completing minor repairs where appropriate Helping maintain the exceptional standards expected of a luxury accommodation

Ideal Candidate
- Takes exceptional pride in cleanliness and attention to detail Is organized, dependable and self-motivated Has previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, property management or a similar role Is comfortable working independently Has experience with general maintenance or repairs (considered a strong asset) Holds a valid driver's licence Enjoys living in a peaceful, remote environment
