Role Description The Logistics Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting daily freight and logistics operations. This position coordinates shipment scheduling and tracking, ensures accurate documentation, and assists with intermodal arrangements across truck, ocean, and air carriers.

The Logistics

Assistant responds to customer inquiries, provides shipment status updates, and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.



The role also includes maintaining records related to tariffs and shipping requirements, supporting inventory and purchasing activities, and contributing to continuous process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong logistics and operations skills, including Logistics Management and basic understanding of freight processes.

Customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Service and clear, professional communication.

Organizational and administrative skills, including Organization Skills and attention to detail in documentation.

Experience with Inventory Management and Purchasing or related supply chain activities.

Comfort working in a remote workplace, with reliable internet access and the ability to manage time independently.

Proficiency with common office software and logistics or shipment-tracking tools.

Relevant education or training in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is an asset.

Previous experience in freight, transportation, or logistics support is preferred but not required.
