We are seeking for a logistics coordinator that can help us with shipments in and out, records, inventory and production management. Full time job here in Calgary 9 to 5, 5 days a week. Vacations, perks and all the trims included ;)Food manufacturing company.
Duties
- Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment through effective management of freight, 3PL providers, and transportation management systems.
- Support procurement processes by sourcing materials, managing pricing negotiations, and tracking purchase orders to ensure cost-effective supply chain operations.
- Implement process improvements across warehouse distribution, packaging, and materials management to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
- Manage records related to shipping & receiving, order picking, and warehouse activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics providers, and warehouse staff to coordinate transportation schedules and optimize order fulfillment cycles.
- Coordinate Production to fulfill orders on-hand and manage production staff.
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and materials management within a supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to enhance warehouse operations and logistics workflows.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping for inventory accuracy and compliance standards.
- People skills to manage production staff to fulfill orders on hand.
Pay: $38,780.35-$45,156.02 per year
