LONG HAUL DISPATCH

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate long distance dispatch operations and shipment scheduling for all Jay’s Moving Branch offices.

· Communicate with drivers, branch offices, customers, and van line partners.

· Resolve operational and logistical issues in a timely manner.

· Review estimates and assist with operational planning.

· Collaborate with the Sales teams to ensure service requirements are met.

· Monitor driver availability, equipment utilization, and line-haul capacity.

· Maintain accurate dispatch records, reports, and documentation.

· Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

· Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, preparing paperwork, and assisting customers.

Qualifications:

· Experience in dispatching,



logistics, transportation, or moving services is an asset but not required

· Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service

· Excellent computer skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and adapt to changing priorities.
