Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hardwood Floor Refinisher to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in flooring restoration, construction, and carpentry. The successful candidate will be responsible for refinishing hardwood floors to restore their appearance and durability, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. Experience with various hand tools, flooring installation, and handyman tasks will be highly valued.

Regular, Part-time and can start immediately.

Duties

- Prepare hardwood floors by sanding, stripping, and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of finish coats
- Apply stains, sealants, and finishes to restore the natural beauty of hardwood flooring




- Use hand tools and power equipment to perform refinishing tasks efficiently and safely
- Repair damaged or worn areas of flooring, including filling gaps and replacing sections as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of debris and ensuring tools are well-maintained

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hardwood floor refinishing or related construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and flooring installation techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
