Mainframe Developer – COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS & Mainframe Modernization
Skills Required: • Tech Stack: IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Deep IMS knowledge, Endevor, File-AID, CA-7.
- Tools: INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
- AI Awareness: Should be AI aware with experience using GitHub Copilot and VSCode.
- Designer Skills:
- Ability to independently analyze IMS Segments.
- Create detailed designs.
- Lead junior developers.
- Participate in end-to-end field mapping.
- Develop, unit test, and deploy code.
- DB2:
- Strong understanding of DB2 objects and processing.
- Ability to independently analyze DB2 objects.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently and learn in an workplace with limited mainframe experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn.
- Nice to Have (Non-Mandatory):
- Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs.
