As thesuccessful applicant you will do the following:
- Lead the hospital’sfinancial operations – from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and controls
- Ensure accurate, timelyfinancial reporting to support leaders and key partners (Ontario Health,Ministry of Health)




- Turn financial data intomeaningful insights that guide strategic decisions
- Partner with leaders acrossthe organization to strengthen budget management
- Support audits and keepfinancial practices aligned with public sector standards
- Lead a fair, transparentprocurement program aligned with Broader Public Sector (BPS) requirements
- Lead, coach, and inspire ahigh-performing finance and materials management team
- Strengthen compliance andreduce risk through strong processes, internal controls, and continuousimprovement
- Support capital accountingand reconciliation activities for the hospital redevelopment project, ensuringcompliance with internal policies and collaborate with the Project Director,Planning and Strategy on Ministry of Health capital reporting.

WhatYou’ll Bring

Required

- Chartered ProfessionalAccountant (CPA) designation in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years ofprogressive leadership in finance and procurement
- Hands-on experience withbudgeting, financial reporting, and financial systems.
- Deep understanding ofOntario healthcare funding models, public sector procurement rules, and PSAS(Public Sector Accounting Standards)
- Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite,



particularly Excel
- Strategic thinker withexceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

- Experience in healthcare orbroader public sector
- Experience using MeditechExpanse
- Experience using WorkdayAdaptive
