Health and Social Services Authority is seeking a Manager, Stanton P3 Operations to oversee the long-term Public-Private Partnership (P3) agreement supporting Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced professional in contract management, facilities operations, and project management. You'll oversee a complex 30-year agreement, ensuring critical hospital infrastructure and support services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual, financial, and operational standards.
You'll work closely with government departments, healthcare leaders, contractors, and private-sector partners to maintain service excellence while protecting value for money. About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Stanton P3 and Facility Operations, you'll lead the administration of the Project Agreement governing Stanton Territorial Hospital's hard and soft facility services. You'll monitor contractor performance, oversee a $30 million annual operating budget, manage risk, negotiate contract changes, and ensure services meet performance standards, accreditation requirements, and the needs of patients and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities
Lead contract administration and performance management for the Stanton Hospital P3 agreement
Monitor contractor performance, service quality, and contractual compliance
Manage financial oversight, budgeting, risk management, and contract negotiations
Collaborate with healthcare leaders, government departments, and private-sector partners
Lead operational planning, dispute resolution, and continuous service improvement
Support Accreditation Canada standards and ensure critical facility services remain operational Qualifications Required
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contract negotiation and management, facilities operations, finance and administration, and project management within a healthcare or similarly complex environment
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
