Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Manual Osteopathic Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring osteopaths through hands-on teaching and mentorship. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive instruction on manual osteopathic techniques, foster a dynamic learning environment, and ensure students develop the practical skills necessary to excel in their careers. Your expertise will help shape future practitioners by combining theoretical knowledge with real-world application, all while promoting a positive and engaging educational experience.

Duties

- Lead practical training sessions focused on manual osteopathic techniques, ensuring clarity and safety in all demonstrations
- Review contribute content to reflect current best practices and advancements in osteopathy
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their skill development and confidence building
- Monitor student progress through assessments, practical exams, and ongoing evaluations
- Foster an inclusive learning workplace that encourages active participation, questions, and collaboration
- Maintain a safe and well-equipped teaching space, adhering to health and safety standards
- Support students’ understanding of anatomy, physiology,



and clinical reasoning related to osteopathic practice

Skills

- Proven experience in teaching manual osteopathic techniques or related hands-on healthcare disciplines
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts and techniques
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Excellent observational skills for assessing student performance during practical exercises
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relevant to osteopathy
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Physical stamina for demonstrating techniques that may require sustained manual effort

Expectations Provide 2 days of instruction on one or more of the following subjects: Visceral Manipulation, Joint Mobilizations, Muscle Energy or Advanced Assessment
