Shape the future of Canada's energy conversation as a Market Analyst with the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) in Calgary. Leverage your expertise to guide decision-makers on crucial energy issues. In this term position lasting approximately 24 months, you will support the Energy and Pipeline Information Program at CER.

Responsibilities include advising on energy information, enhancing data strategies, creating detailed reports, and mentoring colleagues. Your insights will drive strategic energy information initiatives and contribute significantly to energy policy discussions. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct technical analyses and advise on adjudicative processes
- Present energy data to various audiences, including leadership




- Develop data visualization and online products
- Research and draft energy market information profiles
- Manage and validate databases using SQL, Python, and Power BI Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university
- 2–4 years of experience in energy market analysis
- Experience in creating energy information products
- Robust networking and relationship-building skills
