MADTI is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to lead our marketing, communications, and community engagement efforts. This position is ideal for a post-secondary student studying marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, business, graphic design, or a related field.

The Marketing Coordinator will oversee a team of marketing volunteers responsible for developing social media and promotional content. They will coordinate marketing initiatives, support awareness campaigns, manage content planning, and collaborate with our Web Developer to improve the accessibility, functionality, and content of our website.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coordinate, and support a team of marketing volunteers
- Oversee the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across multiple platforms
- Maintain a marketing and content calendar and support awareness campaigns
- Review and approve volunteer-created content to ensure brand consistency and accessibility
- Develop and coordinate newsletters, blogs, promotional materials, and stakeholder communications
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with the Web Developer to improve website content,



accessibility, and user experience
- Collaborate with the Program Service lead to support community outreach, partnerships, events, and engagement initiatives
- Gather community feedback to help strengthen communications and services

Required Qualifications

- Enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
- Experience working with people with disabilities and knowledge of accessibility, disability inclusion, and accessible communication practices

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of AODA, the Accessible Canada Act, WCAG standards, Universal Design Principles, and Inclusive marketing best practices
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn), website (e.g., Square Space, Square), and marketing tools (e.g., Canva)
