Are you a creative, energetic go-getter who loves Halloween, the holidays, and everything that sparkles? We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our Marketing & Communications team during our most exciting time of the year – our pop-up event season! You’ll work hand-in-hand with our amazing Marketing and Communications Coordinator to bring Glow Halloween and Glow Gardens to life — online, in print, and everywhere in between.

Glow is a vibrant and quick-growing company with lots of moving parts. Our marketing team plays a huge role in keeping our seasonal and permanent divisions shining bright. What You’ll Be Doing:

- Collaborating with the Marketing Coordinator to implement and track fun and effective marketing strategies across all platforms.
- Acting as the secondary contact with our ticketing vendor to ensure they have all the information needed for ticket sales and guest support.
- Assist with ticketing operations, including creating comp tickets and certificates, and helping guests with ticket refunds, exchanges, and general ticketing inquiries.
- Once Glow Gardens opens, working onsite at the Halifax Exhibition Centre, helping lead the box office/ticketing team while continuing to manage customer service inquiries
- Creating and scheduling social media content for Glow The Event Store, Glow Gardens (GG), and Glow Halloween (you’re basically becoming the voice of the holidays!).
- Monitoring social media engagement
- Responding to customer inquiries via social media, phone, and email for Glow Gardens — spreading cheer and solving problems!
- Helping to maintain and update our websites
- Assisting in the creation of newsletters, blog entries,



posters, press releases, and other fun communications.
- Working alongside our team to plan and organize an epic VIP/Influencer Night — you’ll be coordinating vendors, curating swag bags, and making sure everything shines.
- Supporting marketing strategy planning and content creation for all of our platforms.
- Assisting with Showpass ticketing, including creating comp tickets for sponsors and staff gift cards.
- Attending key events to snap awesome content and share the magic with the world.

A Few More Things You Might Do:

- Help implement and optimize paid ads and campaigns.
- Keep product info updated and polished on public platforms.
- Answer phones and greet guests — a friendly face (or voice!) goes a long way.
- Maintain great relationships with partners and vendors.
- Jump in for "all hands on deck" moments when we’re preparing for something big — we love team spirit!

Requirements:

- Experience with Canva, ChatGPT, other AI tools, and Microsoft 365.
- Comfortable using their iPhone to capture and post content for social media (considered an asset).
- Please include 2-3 examples of creative work with your application. This may include social media content, graphic design projects, video content, writing samples, or other relevant marketing work that demonstrates your creativity and communication skills.

Scheduling Expectations:

- Hours will vary depending on event needs and the time of year.
- Generally Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until November 19.
- During Glow Gardens, shifts may include afternoons, evenings (typically 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), weekends, and holidays
