Leadership instructors must hold instructor certification(s) for indicated leadership courses and must have a current NL and current Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED. Candidates must hold an examiner status in their certified teaching stream by the start of the contract. A Leadership Instructor may teach advanced leadership courses including but not limited to:
- National Lifeguard
- Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED
- LSS Swim and Lifesaving Instructors
- Aquatic Supervisor
