Work Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid) Experience Level: 7+ years Security Clearance: Eligibility for Reliability Status Security clearance Type: Contract (6 months) Role Summary:

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Automation & Workflow Specialist to help scale SharePoint program covering both PII remediation and SharePoint migration readiness.

The role will focus on building the operational layer needed to manage site-level decisions, file-scan outputs, steward follow-up, remediation tracking, migration-related status, and exception monitoring across a large SharePoint estate. The goal is to reduce manual effort, improve visibility, and help the team coordinate PII cleanup and SharePoint migration activity as one connected operating model.

The data matters, but the bigger need is practical workflow automation and process enablement using the Microsoft 365 stack.

The right person will be comfortable using SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, Excel, Teams, and related tools to turn messy operational processes into clear, maintainable workflows.

Responsibilities: Design and build Microsoft 365-based workflows supporting PII remediation and SharePoint migration coordination.

Integrate information from Microsoft Purview scan outputs, SharePoint inventories, ownership records, stewardship data, and related program datasets.

Use SharePoint Lists / Microsoft Lists as controlled tracking layers for site status, remediation outcomes, scan outputs, steward follow-up, migration decisions, blockers, and exceptions.

Design and evolve the operational data model supporting reporting, workflow automation, and decision tracking.

Support site-level decisioning with business owners and stewards regarding deletion, migration, access restrictions, alternate secure locations, or approved exception paths.

Build Power Automate flows to reduce manual follow-up, automate reminders, track non-responses, update statuses, surface escalations, and establish repeatable operating models.

Transform Microsoft Purview scan outputs into operational views supporting prioritization, steward outreach, remediation planning, and migration readiness.

Support reporting views for business-unit progress, remediation activity, blockers, and migration status across executive, program, and operational audiences.

Identify and track blockers related to retention, legal, audit, compliance, workflow, or destination constraints.

Support deletion and cleanup workflows requiring review and approval from site owners or Information Stewards.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, Risk, Security, Architecture, Enterprise Collaboration, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills: Strong practical experience delivering workflow and automation solutions in Microsoft 365.

Hands-on experience with SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Query, Excel, and Teams.

Experience integrating, reconciling,

and governing multiple business data sources within a common operational, reporting, and workflow framework.

Ability to translate operational processes into simple, repeatable, and auditable workflows.

Experience working with site-level, folder-level, and file-level information to support tracking, prioritization, and decision-making.

Comfortable supporting large-scale follow-up with site owners, Information Stewards, and business delegates.

Ability to support decisioning across cleanup, scanning, governance, orphan sites, migration, and business-unit actions.

Strong documentation practices covering changes, impacts, testing, deployment, and support.

Ability to identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and gaps early and communicate them clearly.

Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving information and translating it into practical workflows and operational tracking models.

Preferred Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

7-9 years of hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 automation and low-code solutions.

Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Query, Excel, and Teams.

Experience supporting SharePoint migration, remediation, governance, compliance, or privacy programs.

Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, AvePoint, or enterprise information governance solutions.

Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform App Maker, or Microsoft 365 Certified are desirable.

Experience delivering scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions in large enterprise environments.

Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Preference will be given to candidates with an active Government of Canada Security Clearance.

Successful candidates may be required to complete background verification and client-specific security screening prior to onboarding.
