Overview

NewGen Cleaning Services is a trusted and growing cleaning company based in Calgary, dedicated to delivering high-quality cleaning services for builders, homeowners, and property managers. We are currently looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking cleaners to join our team for both post-construction and residential cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning crew assigned to Transit stations.
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and ensure all work is completed according to required standards.
- Drive crew members between assigned transit stations and work locations when necessary.
- Respond to emails regarding cleaning requests, service calls, and reports from the City or Transit representatives.
- Ensure transit platforms, waiting areas, stairways, elevators, escalators, bus shelters, and platforms remain clean, safe, and presentable.
- Perform and oversee graffiti removal, pressure washing, litter collection, and general station cleaning.
- Assist with biohazard cleanup (e.g., bodily fluids) following proper safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, vandalism, safety hazards, or damages observed at transit stations.
- Ensure team members follow safety protocols, PPE requirements,



and proper waste disposal procedures.
- Complete shift reports and communicate updates or issues to management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in commercial or public facility cleaning (transit stations, malls, airports, or large public spaces preferred).
- Experience supervising or leading a cleaning crew is an asset.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in high-traffic public environments.
- Class 5 driver’s license is required.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or email communication.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, bending, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and in outdoor conditions when required.
- Ability to follow Workplace Safety procedures and properly wear PPE.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Work Hours

- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
