Professional Pet Sitter / Dog Walker

As a dog walker and pet sitter, you would provide occasional drop-in visits and dog walks for our clients in their homes. There is a lot of variability in our work, as every pet and every family has different needs. This role requires a lot of driving and a varying schedule with no guaranteed hours.

This Position Will be a Good Fit For You If:

- You are an animal lover who wants to be outdoors and active
- You enjoy working independently and have excellent time management skills
- You are able to service clients in the Chilliwack area
- You don't mind yucky smells, untrained dogs, or cleaning potty accidents

This Position May NOT Be a Good Fit If:

- You need a consistent schedule
- You are looking for a primary income source
- You don't enjoy being outdoors or being covered in dog hair

This is a great job for retirees, at-home parents,



and college students You must be consistently available between 10 am and 2 pm at least three days a week to be considered for this position.

This is not regular work - you should have a separate, reliable source of income.

Requirements:

- 18 years of age or older
- Comfortable handling dogs up to 80 lbs
- Available between 11 am and 2 pm at least 3x each week
- Able to pass a background check
- Physically able to walk multiple dogs daily
- Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 30 miles
- Smartphone with data plan
- Have the ability to react quickly, solve problems by thinking on your feet

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $18.25 per hour
