We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Millwright to join our team in Langley, BC. This is a varied position involving equipment maintenance, fabrication, machinery assembly, and production support.

The successful candidate will help maintain our shop equipment and maintenance schedules while assisting with the assembly of custom machinery built in-house. Solid welding and fabrication skills are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on shop equipment, including waterjets, CNC machines, press brakes, and other production machinery.
- Maintain equipment service records and preventive-maintenance schedules.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
- Fabricate, weld, fit, and assemble components as required.
- Assist with the mechanical assembly and installation of custom machinery built in-house.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform quality-control inspections and take accurate measurements using standard measuring tools.
- Assist with production when required, including operating press brakes, CNC machines,



and other shop equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Minimum five years of millwright or industrial mechanical experience.
- Strong welding, fitting, and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with hydraulic systems is considered an asset.
- Experience assembling custom machinery is considered an asset.

We are looking for a dependable and versatile individual who takes pride in their work and is comfortable handling a wide range of mechanical, fabrication, maintenance, and production responsibilities. Pay scale ranges from $40 to $47 per hour depending on skillset and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
