Mobile Automotive Inspector / Mechanic Flexible Schedule | Weekly Pay (Red Seal or Equivalent) – Flexible Part-Time

We are actively seeking a Certified Vehicle Inspector (Red Seal, ASE, or equivalent automotive certification) to join our inspector network for a recurring client assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income with consistent, flexible work.

Position Details

- Visit our client twice per week to complete Pre-Sale Inspections (PSIs)
- $23.00 per completed inspection
- $350.00 monthly performance bonus
- Adaptable scheduling within your assigned days
- Ongoing, recurring work

Availability Requirements All inspections must be completed within a 48-hour service window. Because of this, your two weekly availability periods cannot be on consecutive days. For example:

- Monday & Thursday
- Tuesday & Friday

Morning or afternoon availability is acceptable, provided the schedule allows us to consistently meet our client's turnaround requirements.

Requirements

- Red Seal, ASE, or equivalent automotive certification

Duties

- Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles to assess mechanical condition and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to evaluate engine performance, brakes, suspension, lights, tires, and other critical systems
- Verify that vehicles meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements through thorough testing and documentation
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure vehicle compliance and optimal operation
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks involving automotive parts or components using proper techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used for each vehicle
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of duties

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair principles
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in automotive inspection and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during inspection or repair tasks
- Prior experience working as an automotive technician or vehicle inspector is highly desirable
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to vehicle inspections
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
