Responsibilities

- Safely lift, carry, and pack items of varying sizes and weights, ensuring protection of belongings during transit
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and dollies to move heavy or bulky items efficiently and securely
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care and accuracy
- Prepare furniture and boxes for transport by wrapping, padding, and securing items properly
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any special handling requests
- Maintain a clean,



organized workspace in the warehouse or loading area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent injuries during lifting or equipment operation

Skills

- Experience in moving or packing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or commercial driving is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Knowledge of forklift operation is advantageous; certification is a bonus but not mandatory
- Excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role
