Edmonton Montessori School is currently recruiting a passionate and professional Montessori childcare educator for our centre. The role is to provide excellent care and quality programming and care to children and their families. This position may work with preschool and school aged children (19months-12y).

The successful candidate will be:

Participating and assisting children with crafts, special projects, indoor and outdoor play.

Supervising, accompanying and caring for children on scheduled field trips (Summer, Spring break, PD Days, Teachers Convention etc)

Planning and preparing indoor and outdoor activities.

Picking up and dropping off children

Flexible in working different daytime hours

Completing daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping duties.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Early Childhood Development Level 3 (level 2 maybe considered based on experience)

Montessori experience





Proof of Covid-19 vaccine status

Current Childcare First Aid & CPR

Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector

Minimum 1 year experience in day care/out of school workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
