ABOUT The June Motel is a boutique motel brand with three locations in Prince Edward County, Sauble Beach, and Beaver Valley that was featured on the Netflix TV series Motel Makeover. As we grow, we’re looking for like-minded people to join our team and support us in our mission to create beautiful places to stay where you can live the good life.

REPORTING TO In this role, you’ll report directly to the General Manager of The June Motel.

SUMMARY OF POSITION The Motelier Concierge is responsible for upholding The June’s service and brand standards by managing daily front-of-house operations. Their duties include maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property, hosting and serving in the lobby bar, and providing excellent guest service from check-in to departure.

Additional hours would be available to those willing to cross-train as a Room Attendant.

On-site accommodation may be available for the right candidate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcoming and assisting guests during their arrival and departure
- Providing food and beverage services, which include taking orders, preparing light snacks, and serving drinks
- Responding to a wide range of guest inquiries and requests, both in person and virtually, with professionalism and a hospitable attitude
- Handling sales, packaging, and restocking of gift shop items
- Anticipating guest needs and offering personalized recommendations and touches
- Maintaining cleanliness of common areas by performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, adhering to proper cleaning and sanitation protocols




- Providing accessible customer service and resolving customer complaints
- Promoting inclusivity and working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors
- Providing curated local recommendations and always keeping up-to-date on the region
- Using various software programs
- Delivering prompt troubleshooting for in-room amenities such as Internet and TV.
- Assisting with a variety of guest requests and operational tasks, including minor repairs or upkeep in guest rooms, escalating to other departments or management as needed
- Adhering to emergency and safety procedures and completing necessary reports
- Attending staff meetings to support communication and feedback
- Follow all health, safety, and service standards

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Moderate physical fitness, including walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Previous guest service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French is an asset.
- Smart Serve certification required (minimum age of 18)




- Secondary school diploma preferred; post-secondary training in tourism is an asset
- POS/PMS experience and general computer proficiency (Google Workspace) are assets
- Knowledge of the local area and/or an interest in food and beverage is beneficial
- Standard First Aid, WHMIS and Food Safety Certifications are an asset

DETAILS & COMPENSATION

- Start date: August 2026
- Status: Part time, seasonal
- Rate: $20.60-$25.80 per hour based on experience (plus tips)
- Hours: Approximately 16-35 hours per week
- Number of positions: 1
