About the Company

We are seeking an experienced NAS / Storage Deployment Technician to support the installation and implementation of enterprise storage and backup solutions at client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for hardware installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while working closely with customers and project teams to ensure successful deployments.

Responsibilities

- Install, rack, and connect storage, backup, and networking hardware at customer sites.
- Configure and deploy NAS, storage, and data protection solutions.
- Perform system setup, testing, validation, and performance verification.
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and configuration issues during deployment.
- Document installation procedures, configurations, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide onsite support and remote assistance as required.
- Follow customer standards, change management processes,



and implementation procedures.
- Participate in migration, backup, and storage-related projects.

Qualifications

- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise storage, NAS, server, or backup solutions.
- Strong hardware installation, cabling, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with storage, backup, virtualization, or data protection technologies.
- Familiarity with NAS platforms such as Synology, QNAP, NetApp, Dell, HPE, or similar solutions is an asset.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and implementation reports.
- Robust communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in client-facing environments.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with rack-mounted infrastructure deployments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and switch connectivity.
- Experience supporting backup solutions and disaster recovery environments.
- Industry certifications related to storage, networking, or systems administration are considered an asset.
