About the Role

X-Spect Oilfield Ltd. is looking for an experienced and motivated NDT Drill Pipe Inspector to join our team in Nisku, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting drill pipe and bottom hole assembly (BHA) components in accordance with industry standards, ensuring all equipment meets quality and safety requirements before returning to service.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality inspections in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on drill pipe and BHA.
- Conduct visual inspections, EMI inspections, and other required testing procedures.
- Inspect tubulars in accordance with DS-1 and applicable industry standards.
- Complete inspection reports and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Identify and report defects or non-conforming equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.





Qualifications
- Previous experience in drill pipe inspection or oilfield tubular services.
- Valid ASNT or CGSB Level II certification (MT/PT/UT/EMI required).
- Strong knowledge of DS-1 standards and industry inspection practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
