Position Overview:

The .Net application Developers (multiple positions) will be key players in ITSP’s cloud software development teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications that are used to automate many business processes and functionalities. You will work with other developers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA specialists and other key IT functions to create attractive, high-performance web applications for customers, partners and internal users.

Responsibilities:

- Working alongside the development team and owning responsibility for the delivery of development solutions and component/unit testing efforts.

- Plans, designs, develops, deploys, tests, maintains, updates and supports custom solutions which involves website architecture, energetic programming, database development, server configuration, service and application administration, and application integration.

- Works closely with the Digital Business Analyst(s) and Enterprise Architecture teams to thoroughly understand business requirements and develop web applications based on user stories, process flows and business requirement documents.

- Develops enterprise applications on Store and Head Office intranets.

- Oversees maintenance and enhancement activities for all internal and external applications on a regular basis.

- Provides second level support to service desk and end users as required with respect to the department’s web and dynamic services (includes but not limited to intranet sites, extranet sites, internet sites, database, and dynamic/data driven applications).

- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and must be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.

- Very good depth of knowledge in subject area involving Web and application design and deployment.

- Codes with security, page/site performance, accessibility,



SEO and analytics tracking in mind, with Test Driven Development mindset.

- Use Azure, AWS or GCP platforms and technologies.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- University degree or College Diploma in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), methodologies, processes, standards and best practices for Web and Mobile development.

- 3 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET MVC/C# experience, emphasis on WCF, ASP.NET, Web API, React/Angular, Console applications or Java/SQL skills.

- 2+ year of experience creating and consuming REST services and APIs in different formats (e.g. JSON).

- 2+ year of experience using database technologies such as MSSQL Server, Oracle and MySQL.

- 2+ year of experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and related framework & libraries (e.g. jQuery, bootstrap). ReactJS and Angular is a nice to have.

- Knowledge of different cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure is an asset.

- Salesforce development experience is a plus.

- Experience with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.

- Window/Unix / Linux operating system knowledge.

- Experience working with UI/UX design application such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch is preferred.

- Experience working in an Agile, Kanban and Waterfall environments.

- Solid experience with distributed modern source control framework i.e. Git, TFS, SVN, etc.

- Experience with developing applications that meet AODA and WCAG standards.

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal with diverse cultures in dynamic work environment.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Excellent organization and time management skills.

- Relevant Certifications are preferred.
